About Us Stamford Artificial Grass

Stamford Artificial Grass is a local artificial turf company serving Stamford and lower Fairfield County. We install artificial lawns, pet turf, dog runs, backyard putting greens, and much more for homeowners who want a great-looking yard without the weekly upkeep. We’re not a national chain or a call center. We’re your local professional team that knows how to install turf the right way so your yard will stay pristine for decades to come.

We got into this work because we saw how much time and money people pour into lawns that never look right. Shade from big trees and rocky soil are a big part of it in Stamford. Twice-weekly watering limits and dogs that tear up the grass make it even harder to keep your lawn looking its best. Synthetic turf solves all of that when it’s installed the right way and doing it the right way is what we focus on.

Every project we take on starts with the base. Most turf problems come from shortcuts underneath during the install like poor drainage or a thin stone base. We excavate your site properly in order to build and compact a stone base graded for drainage. We also use turf products made to handle Connecticut winters and summers. It takes a little longer but it’s the difference between turf that looks good for a season and turf that looks good for 15 years.

We work across Stamford and also serve Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk and Westport, along with Rye and Port Chester just across the New York line. Some larger projects especially near wetlands or watercourses may need a review from the City of Stamford’s Environmental Protection Board which we are very familiar with handling. We’ll let you know up front if your project needs any city approvals.
